1. What we collect

We collect the following information when you use auctionsaleswebsite:

• Account info: your name and email address when you sign up.
• Business data: business name, contact info, hours, and listings you enter into the platform.
• Media: photos you upload for your listings and business profile, stored on Cloudflare R2.
• Billing info: payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details on our servers.
• Usage data: basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How we use it

We use your data solely to operate and improve the service:

• To power your business website and display your listings to the public.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, trial expiry notices).
• To troubleshoot issues and provide customer support.
• To improve product features based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your listings or customer data for advertising.

3. Public data

Your business website and listings are public by design — that is the purpose of the product. Business name, contact info, hours, and listings you publish are visible to anyone who visits your subdomain or custom domain.

4. Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing (PCI-compliant).
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, image storage (R2), and DDoS protection.
• AWS SES — transactional email delivery.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing data they handle on our behalf.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate. After 30 days, account data and uploaded media are permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@auctionsaleswebsite.com.
